Our Story
Mercanti Automotive’s roots go back three generations in the automotive repair industry. The family’s grandfather and his partners began in the automotive industry with Ontario Auto Collision before joining the CARSTAR franchise banner.
The family business was later passed down to Remo Mercanti and his brothers, Sam and Tony Mercanti. Together, they grew and operated successful collision repair shops, with Sam and Tony retiring in 2019.
Today, Remo Mercanti and his children, Adriano and Alexis Mercanti, continue the family legacy through CARSTAR Hamilton Gage, CARSTAR Niagara Falls, and CARSTAR Rymal. While the stores operate under the CARSTAR banner, they also carry the family’s own name and values through Mercanti Automotive.
